Dublin pantos 2026: dates, prices and where to book
These are the Dublin pantos we have confirmed for Christmas 2026, with their dates, starting prices and booking links, plus a Christmas show for younger children at the Pavilion in Dún Laoghaire.
Robin Hood at the Gaiety
The Gaiety's panto this year is Robin Hood, running from 22 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Robin robs from the rich to give to the poor, the Sheriff of Snottingham gets knocked off his high horse, and Maid Marian is no pushover. Tickets start from €23.
Cinderella at the 3Olympia
Olly, Polly and Dolly return to the Olympia in Cinderella: Olly and the Glass Slipper, from Pat Egan and Spotlight Presents. It is the theatre's 22nd year of panto, and the story follows Cinderella's rescue from her outrageous Ugly Sisters, with plenty of audience participation. It runs from 19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. Prices are listed on Ticketmaster, and the show page says it is for all ages.
Neverland at the Helix
The Helix, on the DCU campus in Glasnevin, stages Neverland, a pirates and fairies story produced by TheatreworX Productions. It runs from 20 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, and tickets cost between €33 and €45. That is the longest run of the three.
Freezin' at the Civic, Tallaght
The Civic's panto is Tickles and Dottie are Freezin'. A magic winter spell has turned the village icy, and two princesses set out on a snowy quest. It runs from 2 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, with tickets from €27. The Civic describes its panto as a regular sell-out, so book early.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Christmas Show is at the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire from 18 December to 3 January. It brings Eric Carle's books to the stage with more than 75 puppets, including the caterpillar, Brown Bear and 10 Little Rubber Ducks, in one festive hour. Tickets are €21, or €72 for a family ticket, plus a booking fee.
Choosing a panto for your child
Check the age guidance and running time on each theatre's booking page, as they differ between shows. Ask the box office about relaxed or sensory-friendly performances if your child needs a calmer room.
If you want to make a day of it, a Santa experience fits well alongside a city centre matinee, and the full list of Christmas shows and markets is on Nipper.
