Ice skating and Christmas fairs in Dublin 2026

Nipper · 14 October 2026

Dublin's Christmas fairs come with ice rinks, fairground rides and a circus, and most open in the second half of November. These are the three we have confirmed for 2026.

Everwinter at the RDS

Everwinter runs from 25 November to 23 December at the RDS in Ballsbridge. It has a 600m² covered real-ice rink, with 45-minute sessions that start every hour and skate hire included in the ticket. Robert Fossett's Circus is on site too, with a show suitable for all ages, and there is a vintage fairground.

It is open Tuesday to Friday from 2pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 9pm, and closed on Mondays. There is no event parking, but it is a 5-minute walk from Lansdowne Road and Sandymount DART stations. Prices are on everwinter.ie.

TwinkleTown, Smithfield Square

TwinkleTown opens in Smithfield Square from 20 November to 31 December. Entry is free. The covered ice-skating rink has tickets from €8.75, and there is a Big Wheel and a vintage funfair. Santo Panto shows for young children cost €5.50 per person and include a small gift. There are also sensory-friendly ice-skating sessions and neurodivergent-friendly Santo Panto shows on selected dates.

A second TwinkleTown opens in St Patrick's Park from 27 November to 23 December, with Christmas carousels and gifts from Irish makers. It does not have an ice rink.

Dublin Loves Christmas, RDS

Dublin Loves Christmas runs from 15 November to 23 December in the RDS Main Arena. Entry is free and rides are pay as you go. It has a Bavarian-style market, a 50-metre Starflyer, an 80-metre Drop Tower, an observation wheel and an undercover ice rink.
